Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you excel in your responsibilities.

Duties

Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Support the kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing when necessary. Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet or special event spaces as required. Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, banquet, or hospitality settings is a plus. Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation procedures. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds comfortably. Experience with food preparation, bussing, serving, or kitchen operations is desirable. A positive attitude with excellent guest service skills and a professional appearance. Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
