Lewis Barbecue is bringing our award-winning Texas-style barbecue to Atlanta, and we're looking for fast, reliable, guest-focused

Food Runners

to help us open our newest location. Our runners are essential to keeping service smooth -- moving quickly, double-checking orders, supporting the line, and helping guests get exactly what they need.

This is a high-energy, constantly moving position perfect for someone who thrives in organized chaos and loves being part of a strong, fast-paced team.

What You'll Do

Deliver food from the line to tables quickly and accurately Check ticket accuracy and ensure orders are complete Keep the expo area clean, stocked, and organized Run drinks, desserts, and add-ons during busy shifts Support bussing and table resets during high-volume rushes Help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room for guests
You'll interact with guests often -- not as the first point of contact, but as a crucial part of their experience.

Pay Structure

Base Hourly Rate:

$7.25/hr

Average Hourly (including tips):

$20-$30/hr

Actual earnings vary by shift and volume.

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

Walking and standing for

6-8+ hours

per shift Carrying trays, sauces, and supplies -- lifting up to

30 lbs

Moving quickly in a crowded, high-volume dining room Frequent bending, reaching, and navigating tight spaces Staying focused and accurate while moving fast

Schedule

AM Shifts:

9:30/10:15 AM - 4:00 PM (at the latest)

PM Shifts:

2:45/4:00 PM - 11:30 PM
