Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Support banquet services as needed, ensuring that events run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous. Background in hospitality or hotel services is beneficial but not required.
