Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests, maintaining high standards of food safety and guest service. Responsibilities

Deliver prepared food orders promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained Assist with food handling and presentation, supporting kitchen staff as needed Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas Support servers by delivering beverages, utensils, and additional items requested by guests Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions professionally Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and sanitation guidelines Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow Assist with basic food preparation or plating when required, supporting culinary staff during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest experiences Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a focus on guest service excellence Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Prior banquet, bussing, or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about food service operations
