We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties

Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and supporting guest needs to enhance overall service flow Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Support food preparation and plating when necessary, adhering to safety and quality guidelines Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing plates, wiping down surfaces, and organizing trays or carts Assist with setup and breakdown of service stations during shifts, including banquet or special event support if required

Skills

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is a plus Hospitality background including hotel or culinary experience is beneficial Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods

Pay: $14.00 per hour
