Job Overview


We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to our guests, providing exceptional guest service and supporting the overall dining experience. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality are essential. Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or culinary settings is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining food safety standards and delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities



Deliver prepared food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables while maintaining presentation quality Assist with food handling and ensure proper food safety procedures are followed during delivery Support the serving staff by bussing tables and clearing dishes as needed Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order accuracy and special requests Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, including side stations and dining spaces Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, including plating or garnishing dishes Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order tracking and billing support Support banquet events or large parties by ensuring timely food delivery and guest satisfaction Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest services, and professionalism at all times

Requirements



Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask during busy periods Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
