We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a strong commitment to guest services and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist in setting up dining areas and ensuring cleanliness throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Help maintain inventory levels of food supplies and assist with restocking as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Support the overall operations of the restaurant, including assisting the servers when necessary.

Skills

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques. Excellent guest service skills, with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Familiarity with a POS system is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and guests. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.70 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
