Job Title: Food Runner
Reports to: Restaurant Management
Summary:
The restaurant Food Runner ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner while delivering food to tables and assisting waitstaff. This is a general overview of your job duties and these duties may change from time to time.Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items. Carry food from the kitchen slide to customers' tables in an efficient manner. Communicate with waitstaff to determine any customer needs and relay requests. Restock the service station and assist in keeping the expo line clean. Assist with setting up large party tables. Assist with expediting online and to-go orders. Perform additional duties as requested by management
Requirements
Must possess a pleasant personality and maintain a neat, clean appearance. Must be able to communicate effectively and to follow instructions. Must have mental and physical stamina to work quickly for long hours. Must be able to lift and carry 30lbs.
Able to frequently bend stoop, reach, lift, carry, and wipe.
