Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for food service.

Duties

Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean and well-organized. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines while transporting food items. Monitor dining areas for guest needs, providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
