Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service by efficiently delivering food and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Support food preparation tasks as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to provide accurate information to guests. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Operate POS system for order entry when required. Assist with large event setups and breakdowns during special events as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience in bussing, serving, or kitchen roles is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. A proactive approach to guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
