Job Overview

As a Food Runner, you will be the vital link between our kitchen and our guests, ensuring that every dish is delivered promptly and with a smile! Your role is crucial in creating an exceptional dining experience by efficiently transporting food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area. You'll work closely with servers and kitchen staff to maintain a seamless flow of service, all while embodying the spirit of hospitality.

What you'll do

Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation meet our high standards. Assist servers by communicating special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Support food preparation efforts by assisting with basic cooking tasks when needed. Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems, such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, to process orders efficiently. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours, contributing to an energetic atmosphere. Clear and reset tables to ensure all guests are seated quickly

Basic qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in banquet service or large event catering. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Familiarity with guest services and hospitality principles. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
