Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this fast-paced position, you will ensure that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, enhancing their overall experience. Your passion for food service and hospitality will shine as you collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to create a seamless dining atmosphere.

What you'll do

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers in preparing tables for service, including setting up and clearing dishes. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, and any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Support food preparation efforts by assisting with basic cooking tasks when needed. Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management when necessary. Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to inquiries.

Basic qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to handle food safely according to health regulations. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with banquet service or large event catering. Familiarity with food handling techniques and culinary practices. Background in hospitality or guest services is a plus. Knowledge of bussing techniques and kitchen operations.
