Responsibilities

Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables swiftly and accurately, maintaining presentation standards. Assist in setting up dining areas by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to ensure a clean and inviting environment. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing dishes and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to confirm orders and relay special requests. Ensure all food handling and serving practices comply with health regulations and safety protocols to guarantee guest safety. Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including side stations and service carts, adhering to sanitation standards. Assist with banquet or large group service by efficiently managing multiple orders while maintaining quality service. Support guest services by answering questions about menu items or restaurant offerings in a friendly manner.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Prior banquet serving or catering experience is a plus. Knowledge of bussing, food preparation, or kitchen operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Strong communication skills combined with excellent customer service abilities are necessary to create positive guest interactions. Hospitality background, including hotel or culinary experience, will support your success in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
