Job Overview

:

The Food Program Assistant will focus on the Club's snack program including the purchase, packaging, and delivery of food items. Assists in ensuring that the food items meet Club and state requirements. Responsible for exemplifying excellent customer service and the BGCWD core values, culture, policy and procedures at all times.

Essential Job Functions:

?Development of an inventory system for snack program.


?Management of the Club snack program purchasing and preparation and delivery procedure.


?Maintenance of an accurate projection of inventory levels for planning purposes.


?Management of timely purchase order (PO) creation, placement, and processing to support category needs.


?Ability to analyze and adjust inventory and buying requirements in sync with overall production levels, inventory strategy, and the club planning process.

Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks:

?Responding to and dealing with internal communication via e-mail and phone.


?Produce and analyze reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.


?Maintain standards of safety and security in the work environment.


?Ensure compliance with company and health department policies.


?Ability to answer phones and emails in a professional manner


?All other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Job Qualifications / Skill Requirements:

? Current Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment


? Must be 18 with 2 years driving experience. Must provide Motor Vehicle Record from the state of Utah upon application.


? Google Suite experience


? Attention to detail, focus, and time management skills.


? Communication skills, excellent speaking and listening skills to share information effectively.


? Must have effective organizational abilities, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands and work environment are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift and load up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in warm warehouse environment and able to drive company van for deliveries.
