CIP Relief Technician (Union Pay Scale)

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

CIP Relief Technician

to support sanitation and cleaning operations within our facility. This role includes relieving and assisting the primary CIP operator, completing cleaning tasks, and ensuring that all systems meet company, state, FDA, and SQF standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate various machinery and equipment used in food processing, ensuring smooth and efficient production flow Assist in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of food products according to company standards Use basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and inventory tracking Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including logs for sanitation, quality checks, and equipment maintenance Perform foaming, cleaning, scrubbing, detailing, and inspection of equipment. Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for thorough cleaning. Clean silos, lines, pumps, valves, and related components inside and out. Follow sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with Anderson Dairy, State, FDA, and SQF guidelines. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with safety protocols Monitor product quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications Provide relief for the primary CIP operator and complete any remaining tasks. Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Previous sanitation, CIP, food production, or dairy processing experience preferred. Ability to work a

flexible overnight schedule

. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and inventory management Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness. Reliable attendance and ability to work independently. Ability to lift, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks in a production environment.
