Job Description

We are looking for a cafe staff who will be able to perform a number of various tasks. including various types of Such roles would include working the cash register, making all of the various menu items, and keeping track of inventory and supplies. This would involve being a cashier at some points and then turning around to create the orders. Our cafe serves a range of light foods, brunch items, and desserts, including a?a? bowls, waffles, smoothies, and shave ice. Staff should be able to learn how to make all such items during the training period and should be able to keep track of orders and multitask, all while communicating clearly with other team members and working together. You should be able to work various shifts. Close shift: 2pm-10pm Hour pay: $19 - $23 (including tips) Responsibilities * Greet customers as they come * Give customers menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients * Take orders while paying attention to details * Prepare beverages following recipes * Make beverages and waffle, Acai bowl and shave ice * Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) *Stocking, Cleaning and Prep works * Maintain stock of clean kitchen utensils and fruit * Comply with health and safety regulations * Train new employees to uphold company standard *First-in, first-out inventory management *Opening or Closing Duties Additional Duties Cafe staff are also expected to keep track of the inventory for any of the food supplies and ingredients, such as refilling and making the food toppings, washing and prepping the fruits, and much more. Being able to field any customer questions or complaints is a given. Key Responsibilities and Conduct Codes The following essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Acts with honesty and integrity. - Maintains a calm and positive demeanor during rush hours and unusually high customer volume. - Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment, supply levels, and customer cues. - Communicates any pertinent information regarding inventory and supplies to the manager so the store may continue to function smoothly throughout the day. - Able to deliver great customer service by responding to customer needs and connecting with the customer in a positive attitude. - Maintains a clean and organized work space so that coworkers may be able to locate products and resources efficiently. - Knows where to locate and retrieve any recourses and supplies through the storage area. - Consistently arrives before the beginning of the shift to begin work in a timely and punctual manner.
