Sylvia's-Amlings Flowers, the premier florist in Arlington Heights, is looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute our flowers promptly to our customers.

Responsibilities

Deliver our flowers to different addresses and through different routes Follow routes and time schedule Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Inform customers about new products and services Complete logs and reports Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Assist in shop care, clean up and general maintenance Organize, keep tidy and put away/inventory of our warehouse location Help with installation work, event delivery and set up on site at venues and at customer residences Be available for late night break down jobs, afterhours, for an additional rate Work within a busy and small retail shop

Skills

Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver Valid driver's license Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions Ability to lift up to 40lbs Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no traffic violations High school degree
