Company Summary:
Sundance Gardens is a regenerative produce and flower farm, where we, as a military family, take pride in providing seasonal produce and stunning floral arrangements to local farmers markets and offering custom floral services for private events and flower shop pop-ups.

We are looking for a vibrant and organized individual to help with events and manage our farmers market booth(s) during our market day(s). This individual will be responsible for managing the set-up and tear down of our booth before and after each market. They will also manage booth operations and be responsible for making sales, customer connections, and collecting payments during the market.
Collaborate with ownership on floral issues, discuss options, and work as a team on implementing solutions.
Transports, inspects and verifies flower deliveries for quality and quantity; identifies and reports issues to owner for resolution. May make adjustments to arrangement(s).
May assist with floral design preparation such as cutting stems to appropriate length, removing thorns, adding water, cutting ribbon, among other tasks not listed.
Maintains market and event materials, wipes down tabletops, returns supplies to storage, and maintains an orderly workspace before during, and after event.
Greets customers, professionally answers questions, is knowledgeable of products pricing and can offer suggestions. Writes down and confirms customer event plans; may input orders in Square POS. May wrap and/or bag purchases.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Dependable vehicle
Work Conditions:
Must be prepared for and able to work indoors and outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions. Many of our events are year-round and open rain or shine.
Frequent, continuous periods of time standing, up to 6 hours per day.
Frequent amount of local and/or multiple location traveling.
Ability to set up event booths, canopies, tables, and floral stands.
Pre-Market Preparation:
Meet with owner at designated pickup to collect flower arrangements and produce for your schedule market day.
Make sure that all your equipment is charged and packed for the market prior to product collection.
Our flowers enjoy cold air so make sure you have an air-conditioned vehicle to transport flowers to the scheduled event location.
Set-up Expectations:
Arrive at the schedule event location at least 1 - 1.5 hours before the start of the event.
Set up 10x10 tent in assigned space and put 40lb tent weights on each leg (when applicable).
Set up folding tables and cover with tablecloths and table runners.
Put up business name banner(s) and any hanging decorations.
Set out and turn on portable fans.
Open cash register, power up square payment terminal and connect to internet.
Display licenses, pricing signs, business cards, and other marketing material(s).
Arrange flower bouquets and vase arrangements on table with bow facing towards market path.
Inspect flowers, fluff any arrangements that got squished during transport and remove any damaged flowers.
Use your creative photography skills and capture the completed set up and share with owner to be posted directly to social media.
Sales Expectations:
To maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, we ask that you refrain from using your personal phone during market hours (even when other vendors are).
Ensure you are standing to greet customers as they approach the booth.
Invite customers to look at our farm fresh flowers, let them smell the flowers (smells are free).
Tell customers about our farm, our farming practices, all-natural flower food, etc.
Use the square terminal to record all cash and credit card payments.
Collect customer information through email sign-ups and/or event inquiries.
Educate customers on our vase exchange program.
As flowers are sold, re-arrange and condense remaining bouquets so that it always looks full, symmetrical and inviting.
When the market is slow, take this time to touch up the booth and write additional flower food recipes as needed and take lunch.
Closing Expectations:
Unless you have sold out, please wait until the market closes to tear down.
Be sure to make note of and pack up any un-sold flower arrangements in floral boxes.
Pack up in reverse order as you set up.

Base Pay: From $18.00 per hour
