HomeSite Services, a leader in the design and interior finishes segment serving the new construction home builder, seeks an experienced

Flooring Operations Manager

to oversee expansion into the Birmingham market.

In this role you will build a team which is responsible for the scheduling, planning, and execution of all flooring installations for our builder customers in the area

This position requires strong operational leadership and a deep understanding of carpet, hardwood, vinyl, and LVP installation processes. You will manage field crews, coordinate with builders, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain high-quality installation standards.

Responsibilities



Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily flooring installations for residential construction projects. Oversee all installation activities for carpet, hardwood, vinyl, and LVP products. Communicate with builders, project managers, and field teams to maintain accurate schedules and deadlines. Assign installation crews, monitor workload, and resolve scheduling conflicts. Review job plans, blueprints, and selections to ensure accuracy prior to installation. Verify that materials, trims, and accessories are ready and staged for each job. Inspect job sites as needed to verify workmanship, resolve issues, and support field staff. Manage installer performance, onboarding, compliance, and quality standards. Track project progress, report delays, and take proactive action to resolve problems. Work closely with customer service teams to address builder or homeowner concerns. Maintain installation documentation, job packets, work orders, and completion forms. Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications



Required:



3+ years of flooring operations, installation coordination, or project management experience. Strong working knowledge of carpet, hardwood, vinyl, and LVP installation processes. Experience scheduling and managing crews in a fast-paced residential construction environment. Ability to read and interpret builder plans, layouts, and specifications. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with scheduling or construction management software.

Preferred:



Experience working directly with residential builders or production home builders. Previous management or team leadership experience. Familiarity with field measurement processes and job site requirements.

Work Environment



Office-based role with occasional job site visits. Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment supporting multiple active builder accounts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
