Monday - Friday 8:30AM to 5:30pm, occasional Saturdays

Position Overview

As a Flooring Laborer / Installation Helper, you will work directly with our experienced installers to assist in flooring installations including carpet, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood, and tile. This role involves physical labor, problem-solving, and craftsmanship -- ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, taking pride in a job well done.

Key Responsibilities

Assist lead installers with flooring installation projects (carpet, LVP, laminate, hardwood, tile, etc.) Help with jobsite setup and cleanup daily Carry, load, and unload flooring materials and tools Remove existing flooring and prep surfaces for installation Operate hand tools and power tools safely Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and workspace Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times Represent Abbey Carpet & Floor with professionalism at customer homes and job sites

Required Qualifications

Strong work ethic and positive attitude Willingness to learn skilled trades Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor daily Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team Valid driver's license

Preferred (Not Required)

Flooring installation experience or other construction labor experience General tool knowledge Bilingual (Spanish/English)
