Flooring Helper / General Laborer
Job Description
We're seeking a dependable Flooring Helper to assist with flooring installation projects. The ideal candidate is hardworking, punctual, and eager to learn. Experience in flooring or construction is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
Assist lead installer with loading, unloading, and staging materials
Prepare work areas (cleaning, sweeping, moving furniture as needed)
Mix thinset, mortar, or other materials as directed
Cut and carry flooring materials (tile, vinyl, laminate, etc.)
Operate basic hand tools and maintain a clean jobsite
Follow safety procedures and instructions from the lead installer
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
Willingness to travel to job sites within Pearl River and surrounding areas
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Must be dependable and drug-free
