Job Summary

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities to promote recovery and comfort. Conduct thorough assessments based on physiology and anatomy knowledge to identify patient needs and respond promptly to changes in condition. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient histories, treatments, and progress in accordance with medical documentation standards. Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient privacy and handling sensitive medical information responsibly. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions. Assist in emergency situations by providing immediate nursing interventions while following established protocols. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with medical terminology updates, best practices in nursing care, and new healthcare technologies.

Requirements

Valid nursing license (RN or equivalent) recognized by relevant licensing boards. Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments. Familiarity with medical documentation procedures and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering high-quality care during emergencies.
