Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, food preparation, and team leadership. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing overall restaurant functions to deliver a seamless dining experience. The Floor Manager will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency, staff training, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Monitor inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Lead shift management by coordinating front-of-house and kitchen activities to optimize service flow. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a positive dining atmosphere. Assist with food production, kitchen management, and catering operations when necessary. Conduct staff interviews, evaluate performance, and implement training programs for continuous improvement. Maintain compliance with health regulations and company policies related to hospitality management.

Qualifications



Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management, preferably in casual or fine dining settings. Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and managing food production or catering services is preferred. Ability to train staff effectively and foster a collaborative team environment. Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel industry is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
