Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental services and floor care, ensuring that all flooring surfaces are maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial in providing a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff, utilizing various cleaning techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate methods and equipment to ensure carpets are fresh and free of stains. Execute deep cleaning procedures for hard surface floors, including stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed. Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Collaborate with custodial staff to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties.

Requirements

Must have experience in concrete flooring. Previous experience in environmental services or custodial work is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, carpet cleaning, and commercial cleaning practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. All applicants must pass a 7- year criminal and driving background check.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate for Experienced Floor Technicians 3 years or more = $21.00 -Must provide proven work history for minimum of 3 years of service-

Starting Hourly Pay Rate for Floor Technician with Less than 3 year's experience (or) no experience = $19.00
