Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time

Floating

Maintenance Technician

Position:

Floating Maintenance Technician

Location:

The Maintenance Technician will support our existing property,

River Commons

(34 units), and our brand new residential community

Wall Street Place

(155 units) in Norwalk, CT 06850

Hours

: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, with a 30-minute or 1 hour unpaid lunch break daily. 40 hours per week, full-time, includes weekend on-call rotation

Key Requirements:



Minimum 2-3 or more years Maintenance experience in a multi-family apartment style community EPA 608 type I & II or EPA Universal is a very strong requirement for this position, if you do not possess your EPA Certification, but have the right skills, experience and drive, we may consider sponsoring (and paying) for your EPA Certification within your first 75-days on the job! Ability to work independently in multi-site or larger properties, and within a Team environment Perform Porter duties for both Properties Valid/Active Driver's License (verified during background process)

Responsibilities:



Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements:



Education: + High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience: + Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
+ Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
+ Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
+ Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications: +

EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred


+ Valid Driver's License required
+ Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
