Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

RNs: $50-$60/hr (DOE)

• Must work a minimum of 3 shifts per month, 8 or 12-hour shifts

As a float Nurse, you will support Avamere at our skilled nursing facilities in the Tacoma, WA community!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain rapport with nursing staff, other department personnel, residents, family members, and all other individuals involved in resident\xe2\x80\x99s care.
• Prepare and administer medications and review medication cards for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care
• Supervise execution of the resident plan of care and participate in development of the plan of care
• Communicate changes in patients\' clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
• Must chart nurses\xe2\x80\x99 notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident and resident\xe2\x80\x99s response to care.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
