Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:





Responsible for operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting all aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. Proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. Must be able to interpret technical manuals and engineering data to support tasks. Complete assigned tasks within the allocated hourly budget and on schedule maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of safety regulations and requirements.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):





Perform at expected standards of safety, quality, schedule and cost



Complete required training for assigned work and completion tasks



Foster an environment of continuous improvement practices in your daily work

Maintains a clean and organized work area



Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures



Able to work autonomously on DGSM/DGT maintenance tasks, aircraft fuel systems, oxygen systems, hydraulic systems, and aircraft launch and recovery, on assigned falcon aircraft



Able to autonomously repair and maintain cabin pressurization systems, flight control systems, power plant systems, and perform safety inspections and functional engine run checks, on falcon aircraft



Complete work tasks using Falcon production computer systems, eLog 150, Squawk Management, and CAMS



Properly document work time using Shop Floor Management



Responsible to train and supervise flight line mechanics on all assigned tasks



Performs all other duties as assigned


NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):





Other duties as assigned


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:





High School diploma or GED



Basic computer skills



Minimum of 4 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic (experience is not cumulative)



Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment



Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures



Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, and work in confined spaces in unusual positions with or without reasonable accommodation



Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs.



Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids or cleaning solvents


ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:





Aircraft experience, preferably on Falcon aircraft



Experience in a production atmosphere



Experience with aircraft completion tasks


WORKING CONDITIONS

:



Typical factory environment. May work in areas with high noise levels, and in confined spaces. Will work with company's approved adhesives and chemicals and exposed to aircraft environmental hazards.


Compensation and Benefits





The compensation for this position typically falls between $31.00 and $40.11 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for shift differential. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
