We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and support in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and group homes.

Duties

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living space of clients, adhering to hygiene standards. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual client needs. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other health conditions.

Requirements

Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and the ability to monitor changes in client conditions effectively. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism or Alzheimer's disease, is highly valued. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of client information. A compassionate demeanor combined with patience and empathy toward clients' needs.
