TASTE is seeking a dependable Flex Coverage Liquor Store Associate to join our team. This role guarantees

one weekly shift

, with frequent opportunities to pick up additional hours by covering call-outs, vacations, and peak periods. It's an ideal fit for someone who wants a consistent anchor shift with the flexibility to take on extra work as needed, with the potential for more regular hours in the future.

Duties

Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service Assist customers in finding products and making recommendations Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using our POS system Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain clean, organized displays Check IDs and enforce legal drinking-age requirements Maintain overall store cleanliness and organization Receive, unload, and store deliveries Monitor for theft and support store security Open and/or close the store as needed Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth operations Provide professional phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries

Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older Prior retail or customer service experience preferred Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Strong attention to detail and basic math skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Reliable transportation or walking-distance commute is required

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered
Ideal for someone close to the store who's interested in stepping in when last-minute coverage is needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
