Job Description


Under general supervision of the Procurement Manager, performs duties related to assisting operations within the Property Management section to include providing assistance related to the Agency vehicles (450+). Serves as back up for courier and mail services to included incoming and outgoing mail, Interagency Mail Service (IMS), to include agency deposits. Serves as backup for the Central Supply Warehouse and Law Enforcement to include shipping/receiving supplies and materials; inventory control. Assists agency Property Manager in managing the departments 450+ state law enforcement vehicles state-wide to include requesting tag renewals and gas card replacements and deactivations. Investigate unauthorized procurements as reported by State Fleet Management. Monitors and develops procedures for compliance with SFM\'s Vehicle Accident Review process. Coordinates all accidents and repairs with SFM and temporary vehicle assignments. Coordinates and process state vehicle related reimbursement. Assist in managing the Central Office Pool Vehicles. Candidate will manage multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment and discretion while working within grant and institutional policies and guidelines.
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor\'s degree may be substituted for the work experience.
An associate\'s degree or bachelor\'s degree. Successful candidate will have two years of fleet management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience managing a database system and producing monthly reports in a timely manner is critical. Excellent analytical, verbal and writing skills are essential. The ability to work with diverse customers and staff is a plus. The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve is a must. Must have excellent organizational skills to run effective and efficient office.SCDPPPS DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS ARE CONSIDERED DURING THE INTERVIEW PHASE.
