The Fleet Operations Specialist manages fleet maintenance operations and supports logistics through designated systems. This role oversees work orders, inventory, vendor coordination, compliance documentation, and assists with field service dispatch and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage work orders through designated fleet maintenance and operations systems
Order and track parts, shop supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records
Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate service and parts logistics
Support field operations by dispatching mechanics and scheduling downtime
Track vehicle service status and ensure up-to-date fleet documentation (insurance, registration, etc.)
Assist with DMV and Motor Carrier processes as needed
Generate purchase orders and support limited invoice processing
Assist with key management and general fleet administrative support
Qualifications:
Experience with fleet maintenance or logistics coordination
Familiarity with fleet management systems (e.g., Whip Around, Eclipse, or similar platforms)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to manage vendors, parts ordering, and service scheduling
Basic understanding of compliance requirements and DMV processes
Proficient in standard office software (e.g., Excel, email platforms)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
