PAY AND BENEFITS

Annual Pay Range: $44,375.02 - $55,444.44
Hourly Pay Range: $21.334142 - $26.655982
Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.

We are searching for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join our Fleet Services team as a
Fleet Assistant
. If selected for this position, you will be primarily responsible for performing a variety of vehicle and parts inventory-related tasks to support the Fleet Services operation, including transporting vehicles, scheduling and cleaning vehicles and equipment, performing inventory and supply activities, and assisting staff with routine tasks.
Experience in position(s) where driving was an essential function

Experience working in fleet services, parts inventory, vehicle transport, or in a warehouse/logistics environment
Experience in position(s) that required accurate data entry skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties require occasional frequent standing, sitting, walking, driving, squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting, grasping and fine motor control. The ability to lift up to 60 pounds, carry up to 40 pounds, and push/pull 80 pounds. Duties also involve exposure to loud noise, vibration, slippery surfaces, fumes and chemicals.

This position is included in the County's alternate workweek program, working 40 hours during a standard workweek of Monday through Thursday (Fridays off).
This is a day shift position with the following work hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
