We are seeking a skilled and reliable Flatbed Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently using a flatbed
1-2 times a week, take a load to Georgia
Responsibilities
Operate flatbed trucks to transport cargo to designated facilities
Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring, proper weight distribution
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
Navigate routes effectively, adhering to delivery schedules
Maintain accurate records of all deliveries
Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
Utilize manual transmission when required for specific driving conditions
Skills
Proficient in driving tractor-trailers
Experience with flatbeds is preferred (straps, tarps, chains)
Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
Excellent route driving skills with a focus on efficiency
Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
