Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fitness professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal training and group fitness, with the ability to design effective fitness programs tailored to individual needs. This role requires an understanding of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to educate clients on health and wellness practices within a gym or health club environment.

Duties

Develop and implement personalized training programs for clients based on their fitness goals and needs. Conduct individual and group fitness sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety during exercises. Educate clients on body mechanics, nutrition, and overall wellness to promote a healthy lifestyle. Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement. Provide sports coaching for clients interested in specific athletic goals or performance enhancement. Maintain a clean and organized gym environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional. Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, exercise science, and health club operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction. Knowledge of program design that incorporates various fitness modalities. Strong understanding of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively. Experience in sports coaching is a plus. Certification from a recognized fitness organization is preferred but not mandatory. A passion for health and fitness with a commitment to helping others achieve their goals.

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
