Fitness Program Director (New Ashland Location)



| Full-time | $85,000+ (Base + Commissions + Bonuses + Profit Share)

Our Fitness Program Director is the Integrator for all things training-related at Tysons Playground (Ashland location). This proven leader is accountable for harmonizing the major functions of our training department (Personal Training, Small Group Training, and Seasonal Fitness Programs) and driving execution of our business plan. You'll translate our growth strategy into actionable goals, ensure consistent execution, and deliver profitable growth all while building an exceptional team and client experience.

You are a driven fitness business leader who thrives on accountability, execution, and results. You know how to balance people, process, and performance to grow revenue while delivering an outstanding client experience. You're process-driven, organized, and thrive using structured systems like EOS. You've successfully grown personal training and small group training revenue in past roles. You're a coach at heart! You are able to develop trainers into high-performing professionals. You love data, KPIs, and scorecards, and use them to make smart business decisions. You're skilled at harmonizing a team, aligning with a Visionary leader, and integrating moving parts into one smooth operation. Key Responsibilities (KRA's)



Business Growth & Revenue Leadership-

Drive revenue growth across PT, SGPT, and specialty fitness programs.

- Own the fitness P&L and scorecard, ensuring revenue, margins, and cost controls.

Team Leadership & Development

- Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop PTs, SGPT coaches, and fitness staff.

- Lead accountability sessions using EOS tools (L10 meetings, scorecards, rocks).

- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and client-first service.

Client Experience & Retention

- Ensure world-class fitness experiences that drive retention and referrals.

- Implement progression systems (assessments, tracking, milestone recognition).

Operational Excellence

- Implement repeatable systems for scheduling, communication, and delivery.

- Monitor trainer utilization, capacity, and productivity.

- Ensure smooth coordination across all gym operations.

EOS Execution

- Run L10 meetings, manage scorecards, and hold the team accountable.

- Act as the Integrator between ownership and staff.

- Anticipate issues, solve quickly, and keep the organization moving forward.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)



Revenue & Sales Growth- Personal Training Revenue: Month-over-month growth.

- SGPT Revenue: 25% growth quarter-over-quarter.

- Fitness Program Revenue: Achieve launch & retention goals.

- 15% of facility memberships converting to paid training packages monthly.

Operational Metrics- Trainer utilization: 80-90% filled.

- ARPM (Average Revenue Per Member): improved quarterly.

- 12 new PT clients per month.

- Client retention: 92%+ retained beyond 90 days.

Client Experience

- Client NPS: 85%+ positive.

- 100% onboarding completion for new training clients.

- Progression: measurable client milestone achievements.

Team Performance

- Trainer retention: 85%+ annually.

- 90% of staff hitting monthly/quarterly revenue goals.

- Engagement measured via EOS "people analyzer."

A Day in the Life of the Fitness Director at Tysons Playground



As our Fitness Program Director, each day blends leadership, coaching, and connection. You'll be both on the floor and behind the scenes, driving the success of our members and team.

Your typical day would look like this:

- 2-3 hours of Personal or Small Group Training: You'll stay connected to the client experience by leading sessions, mentoring coaches, and modeling best practices in training and client care.

-2 hours of Grassroots Marketing & Follow-Up: You'll proactively connect with leads, follow up with prospects, and engage with the local community to build strong referral pipelines and visibility for Tysons Playground.

- Team Leadership & Strategy: You'll run meetings, review scorecards, and coach team members toward hitting KPIs and maintaining our culture of accountability.

- Operational Excellence: You'll oversee scheduling, capacity planning, and client onboarding to ensure smooth day-to-day execution.

Proven leadership in fitness business management with revenue growth results.

Strong Integrator mindset: organized, disciplined, process-driven.

Skilled in P&L management, forecasting, KPI tracking.

Ability to align teams to a clear vision while executing details.

Deep understanding of training systems, client experience, and program scaling.

Base + Commissions + Bonuses | $85,000+ potential annually

Quarterly Performance Bonus (PT + SGPT + Program revenue targets)
