POSITION SUMMARY

The Fitness Center Front Desk Attendants provide excellent customer service to our members and their guests, and are knowledgeable about our facility and the resort. This is a part-time seasonal position, paid at $20.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Greet and direct guests, employees, vendors and other visitors in a friendly and courteous manner Opening and closing procedures Cash handling and register duties Process membership application Retail merchandising and stocking Book massages, tennis lessons and court times, personal training sessions Assist the maintenance team in maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of the facility Follow all safety codes Assist with events as needed Enforce all facility rules and regulations Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma, or equivalent, required


Experience:

Previous customer service experience, preferred Experience working in a fitness/spa center environment, preferred

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong computer literacy skills CPR/AED certification, company will provide if needed Personal Training certification, a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
