Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a fish processor who will trim, pack, and prepare fish for sale by cleaning, trimming, and packing fish according to quality standards and company specifications. Fish processors follow all safety protocols and procedures while working as part of a team.

Duties

Use knives and other tools to cut, fillet, and trim fish and seafood products to company specifications. Inspect fish for quality, defects, and trimming where necessary. Pack fish into appropriate containers for retail or wholesale use. Adhere to standard operating procedures for food safety and hygiene. Keep the work area clean and sanitary at all times.

Experience

Previous experience cutting fish is a plus. Experience in the seafood industry in the seafood industry is a plus. Will provide training.

Skills and Abilities

Able to handle knives and other cutting tools safely and accurately. Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 30+ pounds, and standing for extended periods in a cold, wet environment. Able to identify defects and ensure product quality. Able to work efficiently in a fast paced, team environment.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
