Job Description

This is a key position within our growing team providing NFPA inspections and testing. Customer and employee communications is a significant part of this position

The ideal candidate for this position:

Experience in fire sprinkler system inspections

Backflow testing, service, maintenance a plus

Customer Service focused

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Must be familiar with NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and FM Global Standards.

Have technical understanding of Fire Sprinkler Design including Wet, Dry, Preaction, and Deluge type systems.

NICET Level II in sprinkler inspection and testing required, Level III in inspection and testing preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance

Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing

Troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections

Provide detail report and corrective actions to the customer

Work with management, schedule coordinator, and office admin at job completion

Job Skills:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

General knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and FM Global Standards

Competent math ability

Good basic computer skills

Detail oriented

Strong organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $22.27 - $26.82 per hour

Experience:

Fire Sprinkler Inspector : 5 years (Preferred) Backflow testing, service, maintenance : 3 years (Preferred) NICET Level II in sprinkler inspection and testing: 3 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
