Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, construction management, and project scheduling. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills, the ability to lead a small team of fitter, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Duties

Install, maintain, and inspect fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations. Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely project completion. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to execute projects effectively. Conduct quality control checks on installations to ensure compliance with safety standards. Supervise junior technicians and provide training on best practices in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance. Manage project budgets and assist in construction estimating for upcoming projects. Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations on construction sites for the safety of all personnel.

Requirements

Proven experience in fire sprinkler installation or related field with a solid understanding of construction site operations. Strong skills in project scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and construction estimating. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
