Fire Protection Service Tech/Inspector Needed

Locally owned and operated Fire Protection Company with multiple locations in Montana is seeking a Service Tech/Inspector who is detail oriented, self-motivated, trustworthy, honest, and organized to perform service work and inspections. ABPA Backflow certification is a plus! Starting wage is competitive and depends on experience.

Must be licensed in Montana or have the ability to become licensed in Montana which requires completing an approved apprenticeship program; Level II NICET; and ability to pass a competency test.

Must be efficient in dry systems, wet systems, alarm valves, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.

Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints.

Ability to travel - out-of-town travel is required.

Capability to work from ladders and lifts up to 40 feet or more.

Capability to lift 80 pounds or more unassisted.

Must be able to perform work from unusual and sometimes difficult positions.

Must be computer literate.

Must be able to work occasional alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer requirements.

Must be in good physical condition and capable of working in all weather and seasonal conditions.

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license, and a clean driving record - DMV records will be pulled.
