The Fire Protection Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting inspection and service activities for fire protection systems in commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with property managers and facility owners.
Identify and pursue new opportunities for inspection and service contracts.
Track and manage sales opportunities through all stages of the sales process, including follow-up and forecasting.
Prepare and present quotes and proposals following applicable safety and regulatory standards.
Follow up on open quotes and inspection reports to support compliance.
Coordinate with operations and scheduling teams to ensure timely service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions in CRM systems.
Conduct all interactions professionally and with a customer-focused approach.
Required Qualifications:
2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in fire protection, life safety, or related services.
Familiarity with fire protection systems, such as sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, and backflows, is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and pipelines simultaneously.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of fire protection codes and compliance requirements (e.g., NFPA).
