Job Description

Experienced fire alarm technician with min 3 years experience with working remote or ONCONUS locations, is required for a 3-year Government contractor. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with NFPA 72, and NFPA 70 standards with installing fire alarm conduit, wiring and terminating devices as well as testing and commissioning new systems. This position will be working with a team of electricians and will be expected to work 50% of the time installing conduit and wiring and the other 50% of the time as a Technician terminating devices and commissioning new systems. This project is remote and requires living outside the continental Unites States on a military base for long periods of time, without regular time off at home. The position includes all food, lodging and transportation to and from the project. The work schedule is 40 hour work weeks with 10+ hours of overtime per week. There are recreation and fitness facilities available for use, mail service and internet. Cell coverage is not available but Wi-Fi is available. This is a 1- year contract with option to extend after each year. This is an excellent opportunity to make and bank serious savings. But it is not for everyone. This is a military base so criminal background checks are mandatory and drug screening. There are no drugs, alcohol, or pornography permitted on base or this project. Tobacco use is limited to oral products only. Violations of these rules will result in at minimum immediate termination and as worst criminal charges.

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
