Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Install, terminate, and test fire alarm system cabling, devices, and control panels.

- Program and configure fire alarm systems according to engineered drawings and system specifications.

- Perform functional testing and verification in accordance with

NFPA 72

and local AHJ requirements.

- Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics.

- Mount and wire control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and auxiliary equipment.

- Collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

- Complete all documentation, test forms, and as-built updates accurately.

- Adhere to all company safety policies and maintain a clean and professional work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred.

- Minimum

2 years

of experience installing fire alarm systems.

- Strong understanding of NFPA 72, NEC, and local fire alarm codes.

- Programming Knowledge of Mircom, Potter, and other Fire Systems preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Organized, motivated and able to work with supervision.

- Valid Nevada Driver's License with clean driving record.

- OSHA-10

- Nevada 'F' Card, Preferred

- Ability to work on ladders/lifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to use standard Hand and Powered tools, to include Multi-Meters

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
