Position Overview:


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Fine Dining Bartender to join our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for individuals with exceptional service skills, an understanding of high-end beverage offerings, and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring every guest receives personalized attention, expert drink recommendations, and a flawless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:



Guest Service & Engagement:

Provide outstanding, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests throughout their dining experience. Welcome guests, take orders, answer questions about the menu, and ensure they feel valued and cared for. Proactively anticipate guests' needs and fulfill requests to ensure a seamless experience. Maintain a polished and professional demeanor, offering guidance on menu selections and wine pairings.

Food & Beverage Service:

Accurately take food and beverage orders, deliver them in a timely manner, and ensure proper presentation. Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, with expertise in cocktail preparation, wine service, and bar offerings. Ensure that all food and beverage items meet the restaurant's high standards for quality and presentation. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure food and drink orders are prepared correctly and promptly.

Bartending Duties:

Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wine, and other beverages to guests at the bar or tableside. Craft signature cocktails and provide guests with creative beverage options tailored to their preferences. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all tools, glassware, and supplies are readily available. Demonstrate proficiency in wine and spirit knowledge, offering recommendations and pairings based on guest preferences.

Guest Experience & Upselling:

Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits and ensure they have a memorable dining experience. Upsell menu items, drinks, and specials in a professional, unobtrusive manner. Handle guest complaints or concerns with a positive attitude and work to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours. Participate in team meetings and training to maintain knowledge of new menu items, drink offerings, and service standards. Assist in setting up, clearing, and resetting tables, ensuring the dining area is pristine at all times.

Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:

Keep the bar and dining areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and staff. Adhere to restaurant policies regarding alcohol service and health standards.

Qualifications:



Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment, ideally with bartending and serving experience (minimum 2-3 years). Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and fine dining etiquette. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage guests in a professional, friendly manner. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling. Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, and stand for long periods of time. TIPS or other alcohol service certification is a plus.
