POSITION SUMMARY

Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Financial Analysis assignments/projects. The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert in the setup, payment, tracking and reporting of financial and rebate guarantees in accordance with Express Script\xe2\x80\x99s PBM client contracts. Additionally, this individual will coordinate and maintain workload management and lead development of the team to ensure that production targets are achieved and effective processing controls are in place. This individual will be responsible for leading calls with cross-functional partners and clients. Responsible for processing business transaction including the identification of system issues, enhancements and required testing of financial system for reconciliation of rebate and pricing guarantees. Requires regular communication with management and cross functional areas in order to meet deadlines, requests, results and resolve issues effectively. Recognized internally as \xe2\x80\x9cthe go-to person\xe2\x80\x9d for the most complex assignments in financial areas. This individual will be key in providing new hire feedback to accelerate new hire effectiveness. This individual will be asked to participate in special projects, assist with escalations, meetings and complete ad hoc reporting and analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Create and review client\xe2\x80\x99s financial pricing and rebate guarantee setups, payments, and reconciliation reports.

Coordinate and maintain workload management and lead development of the team.

Work closely with IT partners on system and reporting requirements

Works on enhancements and required testing of financial system for reconciliation of rebate and pricing guarantees.

Identify deficiencies and propose corrective actions as needed.

Special projects and process improvements.

Mentor, training, and team development.

On-going review of policies and procedures.

Other duties as deemed essential by business to support pricing and rebates optimization process.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS degree in Business, Accounting or related field.

7+ years relevant experience with Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree.

Related work experience in PBM, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industry preferred.

Control oriented and excellent organizational skills

Excellent analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills required.

Highly proficient in MS Excel and SQL preferred.

Effective communication with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and at all levels of management.

Knowledge of ESI\xe2\x80\x99s products and services preferred.

Knowledge and experience with business intelligence (BI) and performance management (PM) software\xe2\x80\x99s and solutions

Experience working with cross functional departments to research and resolve issues.

Experience with quality and process improvement concepts, methodologies.

Requires experience in business analysis and production testing.

Demonstrated self-initiative.

Proven ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently.

Ability to coordinate workload and lead team to accomplish competing deadlines and goals.
