We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial management and reporting functions. Duties

Lead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Oversee all aspects of accounting functions including general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable. Manage cash flow, cash management strategies, and forecast future financial needs to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, monitor account analysis, and perform double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records. Supervise the use of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Metaviewer, Great Plains, and other financial management tools to optimize workflow. Prepare detailed financial reports, including budgeting documents, variance analysis, and financial concepts explanations for executive leadership. Coordinate external audits, liaise with auditors on regulatory matters, and implement audit recommendations effectively. Develop internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy across all accounting functions.

Skills

Strong expertise in financial concepts such as cash management, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, debits & credits, and double-entry bookkeeping. Proficiency with various accounting software. Demonstrated ability in financial report writing, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting detailed financial analysis. Excellent understanding of technical accounting principles related to corporate finance operations. Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account analysis and general ledger reconciliation. Proven leadership capabilities in managing teams responsible for accounts payable/receivable. Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex financial data to stakeholders at all levels.
