Job Overview


As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of our organization. You will oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting. What you'll do



Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing. Manage cash management activities to optimize liquidity and ensure effective use of resources. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to maintain precise financial records. Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Collaborate with various departments to develop budgets and forecasts that align with organizational goals. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to streamline financial operations.

Basic qualifications



Strong understanding of financial concepts including double-entry bookkeeping, payroll processing, and technical accounting principles.

Preferred qualifications



Experience in non-profit or governmental accounting. Background in public accounting is highly desirable. Proficiency in financial management tools and software for enhanced reporting capabilities. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and financial forecasting.

Pay: $75,546.91 - $90,981.23 per year
