R&R Contracting Utilities is seeking a
seasoned Controller
to drive financial strategy and operational excellence in a dynamic construction environment. This is not just an accounting role--it's a chance to shape the future of a fast-growing company through strategic insights, cash flow management, and executive-level guidance.
What You'll Do
Lead Financial Strategy:
Advise leadership on growth, capital allocation, and risk.
Cash Flow Expertise:
Maintain a rolling 13-week forecast and guide hiring/investment timing.
Budgeting & Modeling:
Own annual budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis for key initiatives.
Performance Analysis:
Deliver monthly close, P&L reviews, and actionable recommendations.
Compliance & Controls:
Ensure job costing accuracy and government contract compliance.
Optimize Systems:
Drive process improvements and leverage Foundation Software.
Team Leadership:
Manage accounting/payroll staff and maintain strong internal controls.
What We're Looking For
Education:
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
Experience:
10+ years progressive finance experience, including senior Controller roles in construction.
Skills:
Cash flow forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and executive-level communication.
Bonus Points:
Foundation Software experience, government contracting, multi-entity accounting.
