Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations, including
general ledger, cash management, and reconciliations
Manage annual
budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and monthly statements
Coordinate annual independent audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational policies
Maintain detailed AR aging schedules and AP ledgers; reconcile to the general ledger
Partner with HR/People Operations leadership to ensure payroll compliance
Present
financial reports and strategic recommendations
to senior leadership and the Board
Oversee purchasing, property management, and annual inventory processes
Identify and drive process improvements
to increase efficiency and support organizational growth
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Finance, Accounting, or related field
required; Master's preferred
CPA preferred
(or CPA-eligible)
Minimum 5 years of experience in
finance, accounting, banking, or financial management
Strong background in
process improvement and scalable financial growth strategies
Proficiency with
Excel, QuickBooks, and financial management software
Understanding of
accounting principles, HRIS systems, and GAAP compliance
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed
Must reside in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County with ability to attend in-person meetings as required
