Functions as a Financial Consultant for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team responsible for the development and maintenance of the resource allocation models used in the university budget process; provides guidance and training to less senior financial analysts on budget development and long-range planning efforts; collaborates with unit fiscal offices to analyze budget to actual performance and track strategic planning efforts for university-wide initiatives. Participates and proactively develops presentations for senior leaders, including the Board of Trustees operating budget and long-range financial planning presentations, as well as leading ad-hoc reporting requests. Required Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; six (6) years of experience performing reporting, analysis, and financial modeling in a large and complex organization; demonstrated ability to create and leverage analytic, forecasting and modeling tools; ability to create and leverage financial projections for scenario planning; solid interpersonal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and with non-financial functional leaders. Desired Qualifications: Eight (8) years of experience with reporting, analysis, and financial modeling; proficient with Workday, Adaptive Planning, or similar financial and planning systems. The Target Hiring Range for this position is $79,000 to $105,000 per year. By the start of employment, all newly hired employees must receive at least the first dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of a one-dose series COVID-19 vaccination. Individuals who choose a two-dose series vaccination must receive the second dose within 45 days of their start date. Proof of vaccination will be required at time of hire. Candidates may request a medical or religious exemption from the vaccination requirement. Campus employees may also request an exemption for personal reasons. Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, College of Medicine or OSUP Employees are not eligible for personal exemptions.
